The “Volunteers Department” coordinates their work within the initiative.

The main activities are to identify people who want to offer help, to maintain communication, to analyze the feedback and to involve them in actions.

Almost 4000 volunteers have been registered since February, grouped into categories, depending on the type of help they mentioned they are willing to offer – transport, accommodation, services, volunteering at warehouses, customs, etc. Currently, aid offers are received through the dopomoha.md/ofer platform.

The team is in the process of developing a mechanism for tracking and receiving feedback from volunteers. The pilot system is being tested with volunteers who help at the Moldova-Film warehouse, where package sorting activities are organized every Saturday.

In mid-June, the “Volunteer Academy” was launched, a long-term program that will provide a range of training and activities for the volunteers involved.
